Surprise Gift

The stars aligned and I got a chance to fish with my son today. What a blessing and gift.

I think he was as happy to get these twist locks for xmas as anything else.

I got a chance to fish a straggle caddis and straggle stone.



It just happened to come together this morning spur of the moment, and the fish cooperating was a bonus, for just a super time.

Great to see you had a chance to get out with your son Tom. Nothing better than fam time on the stream. Those straggle flies are awesome & looks like they really produced. I've recently fished a couple of streams here in New Mexico. Pics are of the Rio Grande & Rio Chama. Different from western WA but not all that different from your area.
