I bake one loaf at a time, about once weekly. I just clean up as I go and it’s easy. I don’t stress over small amounts of dough in my sink/drain, but I use paper towels to wipe out most of the leftover dough before washing the bowls and utensils.

I was watching one of those old PBS tying shows and they had Dave Whitlock on there. He used a file on the hook before very lightly before tying on the mono hook guard. Then hit it with super glue. I have always felt that the spinning eyes issue was due to the thread base spinning on the hook.

We just had a 28 y/o fishing at Ringold try to cross the irrigation canal and he slipped and got washed into the Columbia River. Haven't found him yet. Think about wearing a PFD while wading.
