    Clouds

It's pretty impressive. The baby pronghorns are out in full force. Fun little critters to watch.

It was nice watching this big cloud move across the valley.

    SW MT

We got a lot of rain over those few days. I'm not complaining about the new snow on the mountain tops as well. Some of it is still there, so far. The hatch is/was a little inconsistent. I'm not sure how the hatch is doing right now.

    New Fly Rod

I have enjoyed my Echo Carbon rods. I actually prefer them over my Loomis NRX's. I have noticed the price had gone up a bit over the past few years. I have heard that Cortland makes a decent rod. I held one the other day. Didn't seem to bad. Echo and Cortland also offer complete kits...

USPS inefficiency with a simple shipment

I have mailed things items at the Ennis Post Office, going to an Ennis address, only to find out the item must go to Billings and then back to Ennis. Makes absolutely no sense to me at all.

    What's in your vise?

It's been a few years since I fished those lakes. An olive Carey special and dark Stayner Ducktail worked well for the perch and trout.

    SFR onX mapping

OnX is definitely not accurate. I stood over one of survey pegs and marked the location with a gps. When I looked at it on the map, one of the marks was off by 15 yards. I have also marked waypoints for gates and road intersection, only to discover the waypoints are off from the locations.
