Fascinating, so would he have been a very large resi?

I've watched half of the Sopranos basically on Instagram reels, so I decided to start watching the show for real

Varies from year to year, back in 2023 I remember someone on the radio going "12 lber just off Lighthouse" and getting a reply "12 lber nice fish...Area 8-2 is closed...)

If you could truly, honestly, somehow make an argument that we need 25% of hatchery fish dedicated to "statistics" you could switch to pectoral fin clipping them, and stop counting "statistics" fish as wild impacts. Doesn't the Cowlitz on occasion require only retention of double clipped fish...

If they actually marked the hatchery fish this wouldn't even be necessary. Every year I fish for Chinook around half the fish I catch are "wilds". Meanwhile looking at run forecasts, 10 percent of Puget Sounds Chinook are actually wild fish and half of that 10 percent are going to the Skagit...

I prefer the Size 18 Parachute Adams

Had around an hour to jig today - scored three resi sized coho, plus my first ever chrome chum! Was glass going out but quite frightening coming in. Nearly broached a wave turning into port, interesting how the waves actually got worse the more inland I got

I have seriously caught the coho salmon jigging bug now, which means I found myself an excuse to buy more gear. I’m on the hunt for something light enough that a 3lb resi or pink are still fun, but heavy enough for some limited lingcod and rockfish use so I don’t have a one trick pony rod on our...

It seems to be mostly 4-8lbs with some large ones mixed in. I I didn't get out much but remember that 2025 was a little weird, larger fish were almost all unclipped. 2024 I missed the peak of the run and fished late August and early October - My experience was cookie cutter weight for that year...

Saw this in my feed and went “nice King” before pausing and realizing. Genuinely insane

I guess WDFW is closing systems on medium before official emergency regs? Snohomish mainstem is still scheduled to open on 9/26…

Got the meat packing done trolling and then went to try some fly casting and jigging. Fishing was very good at the trolling spot, but not lights out like it was yesterday. Fishing to the boat were on the smaller end, I probably could’ve high graded a little but chose to get a couple limits...

Boat fly fishing experiment did not go too well, fished at a well known trolling spot. Landed four in less than 90 minutes trolling. I somehow tangled my line around my downrigger ball and had to handline the fish in for the last 40 feet or so- pretty fun, but I let him go as he was on the...

At least he is using regular Google and not Google AI summary, that's a mile better than a lot of people I debate various topics with. I think we are in an unfortunate position where lethal pinniped removal is necessary to give the salmon a chance to survive. At the same time, addressing the...

Went out today and last night and struggled. I fished Edmonds and while I caught fish it was a struggle. One 7.5lber last night and a 7lber for my buddy (Who also released a very nice looking 24" Blackmouth on a jig - first time setting up a successful jig drift for salmon for me). Two football...
