Only one 3-4 inch Rainbow today. My first fish with the beautiful 4wt I bought from @Wetswinger , first fish on a bobber, and first fish using felt soles. Man are they a gamechanger when it comes to feeling stable in the water.

Man Puget sound lingcod is frustrating. Even more so when you come back to the marina and your neighbor is complaining about “only” catching an oversized. Took home some fish and chips that were too big to be bait though. And enjoyed some spectacular whale watching.

Ah so they do exist! By mouth of the stilly I meant the tidal section of the river by the baseball field. To my knowledge as of the last NOF meeting the NF Stilly is still scheduled to open at the end of August, and assuming emergency regs don't close it I hope to be out there. Maybe I'll see...
