The spring can be special! Water will be higher then what most are used to but the fishing can be good. Especially if the sun comes out… that is always key for some happy cutties.
Stay lower on the river. Calder, Huckleberry area. If you have access to a floatation device I’d highly recommend...
If I could I’d list out all my Clearwater sticks… the collection has grown.
But if you talk with Poppy and fish a green butt skunk like he surely will say you should find success.

Rigley. He came from Arkansas, had never been on the water, in a boat or fishing until I met him about a year ago. He’s now a fish loving, river swimming fishing dog!!
