Superstitious conundrum: Can't have the cigar until the code is broken that day. Being of weak constitution, sometimes the cigar gets lit anyway, and usually the takedowns then come on strong. Go figure.

I use a Watersnake #24, PWM, and a 36AH LiFePO4. Weight of everything is maybe 15 pounds. Use on 7.5 foot rotomolded pram. I do not need to go too fast, works great. The draw with 24# and PWM can fish for three days. Like to go slow backwards to cast indicators along weed banks.

Deep lake is, well deep. Like over 90'. And it is long, way too long and narrow to paddle or row IMHO. Launch area to about far right initial point fish well at 10 to 30'. Usual suspects and good indicator spots. Many bait chuckers on shore. The left side is a high cliff, like DF, and it goes...

I use 440 paracord in camo, with 8# downrigger ball and 4# downrigger ball. The cord is wound on a scuba diver reel. Reel can handle 75' for that naked, vertical, dangle thing currently being discussed in another thread. Scotty pully.
