    Pontoon Inflator

This the ryobi one plus 18v. If you look closely you can see the battery in the middle lower part of the picture. I have a pile of these batts, and tools…love ryobi. Cheaper then then others and gets the job done I too and interested in that adapter…

    Your Single Fly

For Stillwater, I’d go with a seal bugger, either black, or olive/burnt orange…..I’m a huge fan of simi seal

    Your Single Fly

Did a one fly years ago on the Truckee River thru the Orvis shop. The guys who won, and took 2nd, were using posse buggers….. I took 3rd with a tungsten PT jig. Had to climb a tree and use a stick to get my fly back at one point! I’m not much of a fan of “competitive” fly fishing, other than...

    NFR World Cup

That’s an odd stat for sure. Cuz when the passes needed to be accurate, Belgium was so much better

    I"ve been doing this lately

Always wanted to try a cottonwood seed fly. I’ve come across carp slurping the cottonwood on multiple occasions. Heck you could just gather the real stuff and tie it on a hook. Would that be using bait?

    NFR World Cup

Not a huge futbol guy, wife and I watch the WC typically. We’ve watched a lot of this one. Really looking forward to Nor v Eng….some stellar keeper play. Haaland is a monster. England is scrappy. Takeaway from USA v Belgium. They are just a much more skilled team. Crisp, accurate passing...

    What's Catching You Fish?

I always love the look of a fly that’s been chewed up from catching fish…..satisfying

    What's Catching You Fish?

Buggy AF…..these are my go-to tool fly anymore, and they flat out catch fish. My bastardized version of a Walt’s worm. The gun metal bead one is 4.5 mm tung on sz 16 jig hook. That one has been slaying on the local river. Fish taking it over a more realistic looking offering on a two fly setup

How many fly reels do I need?

I’ve sold several rods, and reels over the last several years. I accumulated a pile of gear before kids….now I have teenagers. Money seems to not go as far these days. I still have more gear then one guy needs! Let’s be honest though…..nothing quite as cool as a sweet fly rod, and a...

SFR A decision has been made-big move coming

I’m not trying to preach to you Gary, just sharing how my family is approaching nursing. It sounds like you guys are ready to move out that way, and I’m betting you will find all kinds of cool stuff out there…..Pennsylvania has a rich fly fishing history. Heck, Joe Humphreys!! I’m a big Dom...

SFR A decision has been made-big move coming

Oregon is the same. Tough to get into programs. My high school daughter is looking at nursing. She wants to go to Azizona….sun worshiper. Much easier to get into programs also. She will likely go community college route….at least for pre-recs. One of the main things we are coaching her on...

SFR A decision has been made-big move coming

Wow that’s a big move! Curious, did she try to get into programs closer to where you live, or did you guys want to move out there for an adventure?

Wanting to move into mid range nymph rod

I have a few Echos and love all of them! I have carbon XL 9ft 4 wt that is a nice little dry rod. I have an old Echo Edge 9ft 6 wt that I use for chucking meat…again sweet.
