@Robert Engleheart - it's got the 265 (first year of the V8 - no oil filter). Has the 3 speed manual on the column with a manual OD knob that I don't mess with.

I'm on a 5 year plan. I'm very aware of how long this will take me. If I can get the body on and engine/transmission in this year I'll call it a success. Then another to run all the custom fuel/brake/electronics/wiring, and at least a year for the interior.

Did someone say S10 leaf springs for a 5 window build...! Got my frame painted this weekend and got the Blazer rear end installed. You can see a bit of the tailgate in the leaf spring photo, not quite the same paint job quality as Bambooflyguy's!

My rear anchor pulley was already bolted to the rear center. I just drilled and bolted on the pulleys along the side gunnel and the jam cleat bracket to the stiffening brace near my right knee. I can take some photos this evening if it would help. They do have some photos of how to mount stuff...
