Landed the biggest Coho of my life today. A beautiful chrome wild fish that was easily 10lbs+ Huge thank you to @SteelHeadDave for the photos. 5/6 on the rest of the day, pretty consistent action throughout the outgoing tide.

I've been fishing a 7wt this whole season but will occasionally switch to my 6wt depending on the line I want to use.

2/6 in about 2 hours of fishing this morning. Both hatchery this time! I lost a fly today unfortunately. Hooked a nice fish and it took off, wrapping a tangle in my line around my line guides and breaking my leader. I'm glad it didn't break my guide, that fish was moving!

6-10 this morning in about 5 hours of fishing. Only one hatchery unfortunately, but it was a good one. 26" buck that weighed about 6-7lbs bled and cleaned. (crappy old scale) pictures don't do it justice but it's one of the thickest coho I've ever caught. The wilds ranged from 4 to 7 or so pounds.

Made a little lemony cream pasta topped with Ikura, avocado, and seaweed. Added some spicy mayo after taking the pic.

3/6 today, all fish I landed were hatchery. The one I released I snagged in the back. Felt good after being skunked yesterday.

1/1 this morning, had another nice grab but my hook point was broken off 🤦‍♂️.

3-4 today, 2 wild and one hatchery rezzie. Good amount of fish caught on the beach, lots of bait and fish came in when the tide switched. Some bigger fish starting to come in, I'd estimate this wild was probably around 6lbs. (Photo credit to @SteelHeadDave)

Area 9 was a bust for me, fished about 4 hours with a couple shakers landed. Saw a few coho caught but not many. Switched up to a MA10 beach to fish the end of the incoming and landed a rezzie right before slack. 1/1 on keepers for the day.

I was in that area of the beach for sure. Thankfully the seal left before I landed my two fish, that thing is not afraid of people at all 🤣
