Just one little guy this morning, had a few more grabs and lost a nice fish around 16” or so. The weather was nice and I had a good view of the mountains!

This big Chum must of been victim of a seal or sea lion on the way past my SRC beach.

Can’t beat Halloween SRC! Wind was a little too much at the first beach so I relocated and landed this fellow. Wind was manageable but not the easiest casting conditions. Feels like fall!

I tied up some clousers @Stonedfish style last night and I can confirm that the cutties love them! I had probably 15+ bites but only brought one to hand (combination of my strip sets being awful and the floating line didn’t help much either). He was a big one though!

Went to see if the cutthroat were around at a beach I’ve fished the past few years this afternoon. Brought 3 to hand and lost probably 4-5 more. The last fish was a chunky 15”. I always appreciate how beautiful these fish are, especially when they get into their fall colors.

1/1 this morning, had another follow. Only fished for about an hour or so.

2/3 in a little over 2 hours of fishing this morning. The colored up buck was not the largest, but probably the hardest fighting coho I’ve caught this season. Multiple drag screaming runs.

Found my first Chanterelles of the year this afternoon! Not too many out yet in my area but the rain this week will help greatly.

Probably my best day of the season so far. 2/5 in a little under 2 hours of fishing. Hooked two fish within 30 minutes and they both popped off at the beach while I was trying to land them. Had a pretty large fish, Im guessing 6lb + take it 10’ in front of me and it give me a few tail slaps...

That first fish is absolutely beautiful! Good work!

This one cut deep orange/red. The bigger of the two I caught on Tuesday had very firm, lighter orange flesh. Definitely some bigger fish showing up. I weighed one for a fellow on Monday that was 6.8lbs and I saw one caught today that weighed 7.5lbs.
