How do I store all these damn fly rod tubes?

This is similar to what I use. Should accommodate 20 tubes...very small footprint'. I have 12 large rod/reel tubes in mine with lots of room left. approx 34" H x 18" W x 12" D (at top) Re stability: I wondered if the hamper might be tippy, but, IMO, the weight of the tubes directly to the bottom...

    Floating phone case?

Good point. I finally realized the pic I took of a fish 10 years ago looks suspiciously similar to the one I took last year..... They could be related....;)

    Floating phone case?

I've ruined two phones dunking in saltwater, both "supposedly" in waterproof cases. The only foolproof waterproof case I trust now is the console of my truck when I'm fishing.

    Best outfit for tactical crabbing?

My buddies and I have gotten a little competitive, trying to outdo each other with our crabbing rigs. I thought |I'd pulled out all the stops by adding a bicycle grip streamer to the handle of mine....Then a buddy sent me this: With hat-mounted drone, various go-pros and a sonar...

Breaking Strength of Gear Tethers (ie: net, wading staff, etc)

I've been thinking a lot about this lately, so thought I'd open up a discussion, as it may prevent some grief for someone in the future. Here goes: I've seen quite a few posts re different configurations for wading staff tethers. They vary from very light strength, to some, I'm sure, that would...

    Wrist strap on Wading Staff?

I'm sure it would. The extreme duty one has 14 oz pull tension and a lock button.

    Wrist strap on Wading Staff?

I use a Boomerang scuba retractor (14 oz tension) to keep the grip at my hip...out of the way, but handy on short notice.

    Wrist strap on Wading Staff?

I'm wondering how many actually use the wrist strap on their wading staff. I never use one, or even have one on my own staff. I'm interested in opinions. ( I may modify my Riverstick design accordingly)
