First time I saw my Dad cry was at the opening of the memorial in Sacramento. I remember him finding the names of too many friends. He was not alone in his grief. The day left lasting memories.
We had this beast as well. Hit our 3 yr old first then worked though us. About 3 weeks so far between all of us and still hawking lugees. Worst I can remember.
We take bananas on the boat... No issues. In fact im less hangry. So maybe even fewer issues because of em.
I had heard it was a stop for sailors on the way home who were unlucky but could still sell bananas at port and cover some costs although not as lucrative as fish. Ymmv.
I am not electrician, but changed the color of my collar twice ... Blue to white then back to blue... More choices in non urban areas with being able to swing a hammer or...
For the record.
I didn't choose my home based upon a map of Costco locations.
Nor did anybody else I know.
Nor would I recommend such things.
But it sure is nice to have.
...and yes I am sure sequim of 60 yrs ago was a completely different animal, but so was every where else.
Didn't read em all... Yet. But gotta say the Costco in Sequim adds so much convenience. Didn't make the town a shithole at all.
In fact, folks drive from Forks and beyond to shop there and it anchors other nearby useful tenants. The home Depot is super nice too. The hospital, not so much but...
I only wish that was my room filled with vinyl. I only have a few crates of treasures.
