I tried Orvis customer service. Waste of time.

Thanks Brian. I did the same search with the same results. Orvis customer service was no help. They wanted me to send the reel to them just to swithch the retrieve.

Thanks very much for the generous offer. I contacted Lucas at the Seattle Orvis store and he said that he just uses his hemostats in the two holes that the spanner pins would normally fit in. Worked great.

I have a Coleman that I bought a long, long time ago. I have traveled all over with it. It doesn't have a ton of room but has never failed on AC or DC. I did have to replace the AC converter a few years ago but the cooler has been flawless.
