Yes, pretty country and beautiful river. As far as healthy trout populations go there are more places than I can name that just don't have healthy trout or healthy waters anymore, right here in the good ole PNW

What little I know is the small streams have small trout and I would pick a 7'6" or 8' 3wt for the little blue lines. Except if you go over to Rock Ford ck, then your 5wt will be needed. Check the regs for open water. Have fun and travel safe.
