Found a few nice LMB over the weekend at a small urban Seattle lake. Not challenging @Billy for the belt but quality fish, for sure.

Run the textured line if that's the line you want to fish IMO. If you manage to wear out the guides then you'll either have a fun repair project or an excuse to go shop for a new toy.

Appreciate all of the thoughtful responses! Sort of as-expected, but I think we will probably save the river float for another time/destination. We may or may not qualify for a handicap exemption but I really just don't care to deal with that. Will definitely call over to Jeff @ Fly Fishers...
