    Any use the Garmin InReach?

You cannot pause the garmin without a reactivation fee, think it’s roughly $30. That would have been a good option. Don’t recall if that Zoleo was available back when I was deciding. I’ve chalked the monthly up to good insurance…set it and forget it. I like that I don’t have to think...

    Looking at Drift Boats

My last boat- a ‘96 Hyde high side had a removable front bench that could accommodate one or two seats. Being removable, the floor below had a pedestal base permanently attached that when I pulled the bench out could run a single seat on the pedestal opening up the interior space. This was a...

    Any use the Garmin InReach?

I’ve had the inreach mini for about 6 years. On the cheapest monthly plan ~$13/month. Between fishing, dual sport motorcycle riding, hunting and camping, I’m frequently in areas without cell service and have a young family at home. It’s great piece of mind being able to check in with my wife...

    Water proof bacpack recommendations

For a simple roll top bag - i really like my grundens 30L RumRunner backpack. It would be just big enough for the gear you described.

    FS Tibor Everglades Reel(7/8/9wt)

Like new Tibor Everglades reel in Royal Blue with backing. Like new, purchased for a trip last year and now thinning the heard. $550. Prefer local meet up in puget sound area rather than shipping.

A Short Trip to the Beartooths & YNP

My wife and I did basically that exact same trip in 2021 - catching a Grayling was a species I've wanted to check off for a while.

    Pizza oven thread

Here is a vote for the Gozney - Bought it for my wifes birthday a few years ago and we use it a ton. Beyond pizza- cast iron quick cooking in it has been fun- searing steaks, shrimp, lots of veggies and other fish. We often take it with us when we head out camping.

Need a car to haul my boat

We occasionally use my wifes 2017 outback to tow our older Hyde highside. Typically on quicker float trips to known easy ramps - think Bristol (RIP) to greenbridge on the Yak. Or long distance trips to Montana to visit family where we will only get to float a few times over the vacation. The...

    Drift boat trailer

That's about right. Think i paid roughly $500 for a new dexter axle to be welded on my older drift boat trailer by a trailer shop in Ellensburg a couple years ago. If the spindles were damaged by your wheel when the bearings blew, a new axle is the right answer. When i bought my boat, i had to...

    Grundens Waders?

I have the infinium jacket and its sweet. highly recommend. The goretex is only in the hood, shoulders and sleeves. Works awesome for those days where a full rain coat isnt needed. Their heavy weight thermal bottoms are also an awesome wading base layer pant for winter fishing.
