I'll usually go barefoot and roll my pants up a bit, but I've done shoes on too, if i find a good flattish launching rock with water at least a foot deep next to it. Never bring extra shoes unless its foam flip flops on a backpacking trip.

Get a small mesh stuffsack and 40-50' of thin (non-water-absorbing) cord. Add a rock and you have an anchor. Use it to not let your boat float away as you get in/out from the shore.

Find a used Klymit Litewater Dingy raft online (~2lb) and then keep yourt fishing setup simple and light (one fly box, single 3-5wt 4pc rod, small light net, forceps) You are not going to want to walk even 1/2 mile wearing waders. You DO NOT want to have to carry waders+tube+Fins+extra shoes...
