Kind of a funky gardening year…..my cherry tomatoes are doing fine but not the cucumbers? Planted at the same time, good soil, sun, watered, fertilized, great starts from Capinitos but I call mine “pukeumbers!” I’ve never been able to grow squash plants…..screw them next year!

Bummer Stonedfish…..hope they revive.

I sure miss fishing with my dad…..enjoy every minute!

Seems like those little furry turds like to do almost anything to irritate us…..they pick my plums and Asian pears, take one or two bites then get another! Digging in the garden “looking” for peanuts they forgot where they buried just to name a few.

Mine’s fishing two flies under an indicator…..usually a chromie on top and a micro leech on the bottom. I’ve tried a bunch of times with one fly and nothing….put on the second fly and bobber down! Even though 90% of the fish are on the bottom fly….and the top fly usually catches my finger, other...

Bulldog wanna be’s…..

Yesterday was awesome! A good friend Val enjoyed the fourth with me….cruzn, drinking, eating and living room dancing! The fireworks went into high gear around 10:00-1:00 am….then a few clowns still had some left so they thought it’d be a good idea blasting for 15 minutes at 3:45 am???

Taking a cruz in the Hotrod and BBQ’n Carne Asada, corn on the cob and homemade Spanish rice! Happy 4th to all! Then tonight I’m on fire watch for frickin bottle rockets landing on my roof/yard….
