Winter Jumbo stocker fix

Spent a couple days getting a tug fix on a few Mason County lakes that got recent drops of broodstock/jumbos.
They weren't exactly easy, but a variety of flies and lots of patience brought enough to hand to be fun!
34° and heavy fog this morning was pretty bone chilling, but at least my legs aren't in the water with the yak!
Yay for heated socks... 1000012792.jpg

Hard to tell from the pic, but this one was about 6" belly to back

@Northern continuing to live vicariously through you - thank you! We have the same boat so I just imagine I’m the one getting after it (instead of the soul crushing corporate grind and travel taking up most of my time these days).

Cool.
Anyone hit the mill pond in Ony?

I did years ago, it was a float and blood worm set up, if I recall it wasn't that big, but it produced fish and they put some big fish in that place.

Happy to oblige! I usually crop most of the yak out of the pics, but I can include more shots with boots & bow if it makes you feel more in the moment! 😄

Just teasing….the tug is the drug! Sometimes we fish for pellet heads. Might as well be big pellet heads!
