Couldn’t get a Matuka flatwing to work but still got the profile I wanted tying it this way.

I haven't totally decided whether or not to put the eyes right up front or hanging back a touch....I'm 99.73% certain that the fish won't give a shit though.

I am 110% certain that the fish give actual shits when it comes to eyes. You need to leave just enough room between the eye of the hook and where you place the false eyes for the holy spirit to slide in and bless your pattern. This is known.

Ribbing - Oval silver tinsel

Body - Flat silver tinsel

Wing - Purple marabou tied over the body

Hackle - Tuft of purple marabou tied in at the throat

Collar - Light blue saddle hackle tied on as a collar and tied back
