I have no idea if it does or not - I really like Simiseal products.
Was more or less answering the person’s question…remembering something is older relatives may have used. I believed that to be spoiled up mohair. 😉

Uni mohair. Comes on a spool in a variety of colors. Wraps up a cinch. Teases out nicely. Doesn’t quite have the multi color iridescent like shimmer of simi-seal, though.

My take on Puget Sound ghost shrimp.
Shrimps are usually tied with the shell back and "legs" on the bottom, I'm not convinced that they will ride like that in the water (depending on the amt of legs vs hook keeling effect).
Instead, I put the shiny "shell" on the bottom where it can attract fish as it passes them overhead. The fluff is on top to give it proper orientation.
Long shanks classic streamer hook #6 custom bent to shape.

Dang - makes me want to pair that with a corky and yarn and bounce the bottom like the old days. Nice pattern!
