This was a fair pairing to start the day, March Brown below a Copper John. No whitefish though

Of course I eventually hung them in a tree, so.......BHGRHE from the other day goes on point......

Really don't know why I bother tying anything other than the Hare's Ear.
I've gone 2.9 winters without finding a clipped one. I know, but the wife is excited!

I changed flies a few times today, the two on the left caught fish, the others were ignored.





Nightmare red jig popped out as I netted the fish.
