What's Catching You Fish?

They are super good prices and to be honest, I think their quality is quite good!!
Finally went a ahead and looked these up. The hooks seem like a great deal, I’m going to pick some up. The beads feel a bit expensive, compared to tactical fly fishers. But then again I’m pretty cheap when it comes to my hook/bead combo for euro flies. I tend to lose and give a lot away. Excited to try these as I had give. Up on jig hooks because the gap always felt
Too small

I really like Firehole sticks and have had good luck with their hooks and countersunk tung beads. But I've had three batches of FHS slotted tungsten beads in small sizes (+/- 2.0mm) with misshapen/too small small holes that that don't fit on appropriately sized hooks.

Yeah I’ve almost exclusively used fireholes for my euro nymphs and I’ve yet to be disappointed.

I posted these up in the vice the other day and they just really worked well. The simi leech was under an indicator and the willy counted down on a sink tip. After a few trips out I was rereading ch 1 in @Tim Lockhart book this morning, amazing how well he describes being at the lake, it reminded me of my experiences, and that fish cycle throughout the day.

Only caught two fish in about 5 hours, but they both looked like this! And yes, that fish is on the gunwale, beside my leg...because I couldn't lift it one handed

No touches on any other pattern. Another guy at the lake had similar results, and also caught his on a big orange and olive fly.

What a toad! Good to see that lake still has some healthy fish in it!
