Looks like a fun outing.
I always have fun out on the river! Time to fish a bit more hard-core with one of my boo rods! One i picked up from Kent Luftkin!
Next time I'll take some pictures in the fish department at Safeway in Cle Elum... there was fishing btw.. just no catching.. both of us were fine with that and I just needed to get out and away! Cheers!

The tradition of the Useless report goes a long way back, in my case driving OMJ around. He would point out spots where he had caught fish 20 years earlier! Sometimes i would just ask him to pick a spot so we could stop driving.It’s not like Peyton00 is going all Steven King with fishing reports either, Jus’ sayin’.

This recent trip was really about playing with bamboo, I gave Jake a rod so we cast mainly dries, even though it probably isn't the best time of year to do so. He cast a few of my bamboo rods as well.
I fished a dry and dropper after he headed out and then checked out the canyon after stopping for a but at Dru Bru in Cle Elum. I probably should have reversed the process but had a crazy Saturday and chilled in the sun for a while.
No fish unfortunately, I had my 6wt with me and should have rigged it with some nymphs, but other anglers had hit a bunch of other spots at Bullfrog without any success.
One kind of cool things, there was a guy who launched a paddle board from the launch with his friend who had a small raft. Way more balance than I've ever had.
As far as rafting stories and crazy drift boat stuff, I'll save that for time around the camp fire as I don't feel like typing it out tonight!
