Nice, yeah they're absolutely gorgeous fish.
Fantastic thread! I can catch the much smaller versions of many of those fish from the bank and beach in Maui consistently…. So I’m pivoting to Kona for our next trip!
I will do a sailfish/deep sea trip, but the lighter gear and variety would very much be a goal of mine as well.

I greatly prefer bottom fishing now when I'm in the boat. After one has caught dozens of billfish and countless big ahi, it gets kinda old. I like the hands on approach of light tackle jigging. When I'm not fly fishing, that is.......
