PNW dirtbaggery is where I cut my fishing eye teeth as a wee lad, but this thread is 100% about light gear action (no trolling on charter boats) in warm places. No pics or posts that include any goddamn icebergs, snowbanks, narwhals, polar bears, elk or puffins in the background!

Any cool fish you catch on lures or bait using light tackle in a warm location is welcome in this thread!

I was born and raised in the PNW and lived there most of my life. I know how gloomy it can be when the weather sucks for weeks on end. A pic of someone fishing in a nice warm location can do wonders for the mood....so here goes. I'll start it off with a few fish from my home waters the past two weeks.

It's a cat hull, it was a former commercial fishing boat Nate and I bought.

Cool! The bow looked very cat like, but the stern not as much.

I have a bit of an obsession with unique hulls. Very cool!

Both the bones you guys hooked were big specimens. Landing one over 6-7 lbs is tough here. So many coral heads and lava rock piles to F shit up!
