Trip this weekend?

Well, it's been almost a month since I have been able to make it out on the water so I'm feeling pretty squirrely. Most the stillwater is too warm (to bank fish) and I don't have the time to get deep into the alpine wilderness to get to cooler water. And most the rivers close by are closed. The three forks of the snoq isn't too bad of a drive and I've never been. Looks like a decent amount of public access on OnX maps. Not looking for anyone to spot burn (however if you would like to PM me any info, I wouldn't mind 😉). Just curious on if that area is ok enough to make an hour drive this time of year? Tried to do this in a way that the googly machine wouldn't bring it up on searches lol. Probably going to head down there regardless, but figured asking wouldn't hurt. Thanks in advance!

There’s tons of river to access on the three forks of the Snoqualmie and they have lots of mostly small but willing trout. I don't think many folks mind mentioning those rivers in general as they are very well known and have lots of public access to spread out on. I usually have a better time the further away I get from the high use areas. I say go have fun.

Great time of year for the Forks of the Snoqualmie. I find slightly bigger fish this time of year. Lower down is where I would target. Maybe an october caddis stimulator dry or wet fly swung near woodpiles/logjams. Last outing on the south fork I was surprisedl by a 10-11 inch brook trout

Spent a few hours out there today. No luck, but lots to discover still. Exploring new water is always enjoyable whether I get something in the net or not. Definitely an awesome area with a LOT more room to spread out than what I'm used to.
