The Pats have 2 wins vs. teams that would be in the playoffs of the season ended today. I don't believe any AFC has more of those wins than the Pats. Quite a few have 2.

The rams are 6-2 in those games.
 
This makes me wistful for the old days here...
When it was just Donkey Talk, and a few random posts about the Chiefs and Rams.

16 yards per catch certainly helps a lot.

This leads to a couple of thoughts:

1. If the Seahawks have an MVP candidate its JSN.
2. Ohio State is as good as LSU at turning out WR's. Jeremiah Smith looks better than McLaurin, Wilson, Olave, Egbuka, Jameson Williams and Harrison JR. It's hard to say anyone can be better than JSN is being right now.
3. It seems like a poor way to structure an offense to be that reliant on one reciever. I can't believe this is planned.
4. Good thing the Seahawks, or at least Kenneth Walker, run the ball so well.
5. Justin Jeffferson had 1500 yards last year and averaged over 15/ catch with Darnold throwing it to him. Seems like Darnold has a tendancy to develop a co-dependant relationship with his deep threat.
6. My beloved Patsies had 24 catches on Monday. 7 players had 3 catches or more. This seems more like the way you would want a passing game to go.
7. The days are really short. I spend too much time thinking about the Seahawks offense. I'm not even a Seahawk fan. It's better than arguing my wife over things she did not do wrong.

Ohio St. is definitely receiver U right now!

You gotta get the ball to your best player as many times as you can! If a defense can stop you from doing that it can be trouble but that’s a bridge you burn when you get to it. If you don’t have “that guy” then you gotta get creative. If you have “that guy” you create as many ways as you can to get him touches.

It will be interesting to see if that continues now that Brian Hartline is leaving to be head coach at South Florida.
Chris Henry, a five star Buckeye receiver commit didn’t sign his letter today.

Having lived through and suffered through the Elway era I have learned to not get too emotionally dependent on what is happening during the games. Enjoy the drama as it's the best reality show on TV. At the end, when they win, give a fist pump and relax until next week. If they win the Superbowl then go fucking nuts and act like Dime and revel in and flaunt their greatness and build a digital alter in this thread to worship at.

I feel LeBron was caught in between two eras of basketball. He was educated and brought up in the old school but was playing in the new school past 10’years or so. I don’t know. I lost attraction to the NBA once the Sonics were gone. I remember staying up late to watch the recorded playoffs after the news. I payed attention too… because I wanted to know who the Sonics would face. It was a fun time. It has moved on. Even if a team was to come back which I don’t think will happen I’m done with the NBA. Sonic vs Trailblazers were some of the best ever !!!

Bills best beat Burrow
Raisins and Squealers matters, just not to me though
Bears Packers looks good
Texans Chefs should be the end of the Chefs
