Non-Fly Swinging October Caddis for Choo

For the hardcore fly guys, anyone ever swing or gurgle these over a pod of fresh coho? On a light sink tip or a dry Skandi?

As I get older I want to catch my fish my way. Be a hoot to swing some chrome 12-15 lbs keepers for the smoker off this pattern, they love to chase so do you have a similar type?

Or just any Fall Coho favorite flys?

I have hooked a choo on an October caddis but it broke me off heading around the corner. The conductor blew the horn and everything as I cast, I presume to show his appreciation for my perry poke.

Ill leave now.

Oh don't go too far. It's a unusual approach I'll readily admit. Most the guys wack & stack Salmon by any means necessary. Even the rare Choo

Slivers would probably take that pattern better than Choo.

Kangs are bitey even late in season but I prefer the spiral battle of a Choo
