Strange, weird or odd or whatever beach finds thread….

Brian- Did you get a stick of gum with the cards too? It looks like Panini released that set in 2013 and current Ebay price for an unopened pack is about $5.

No sure Mike…I’d have to dig them out of the garbage. They were soaking wet like they had been Surfin’ U.S.A.

You know, independent of the basketball Stones put up, the Puget Sound Pumpkin has not made an appearance this year. Seems odd to me. Kinda like the bird numbers due to H1N1flu. I am thinking this big westerly blow forecast/bombogenesis in the next 48 hours should blow some pumpkins down into the drainages and would predict sightings go WAY up. If I am wrong, which is a lot of the time, gonna speculate there is either a pumpkin blight or a S-river delta family of Cryptids that has something to do with meth, pumpkins, zombie salmon, beach boys trading cards and random coconut hurling

Stones You know somewhere near Belfair some dude is in his shop wondering if he's getting demented or not.... Hands up if you're ever on a project in the shop and you can't find your goddamn pencil that was literally RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU A MINUTE AGO....

"I could have sworn on Monday I had three Mitchell Lumber pencils, on Tuesday it was two, I know it to be true, and on Wednesday I just had the one... but now? No pencils at all....I must be losing my mind..."

3- Tape measures
4- T-star bits
5- Flat-head screwdrivers

Boot,
I’d be interested to know how those end up in the water, as I’m not seeing any construction going on nearby where I’m finding them. I wonder how many are actually under the heaps of seaweed and eel grass?
Two from a previous trip…..Maybe it’s part of Michell Lumber’s new beach advertising campaign.

Plus . . . whichever tool you're holding in your hand while you hunt everywhere looking for it. Not that I have ever done that . . .

maybe they sponsored Long Live the Kings, perhaps this was their pencil-based version of "Survive the Sound." If so, there's probably a bunch of them stuck under the Hood canal bridge...

I confess, it’s me. Wood pencils float great, so I’ve been buying random companies pencils by the crate load off Amazon, then running my boat all over the sound and canal throwing them over the side in a very strategic manner. Then I see which companies pencil you post on this thread and voila, @Stonedfish secrets honey holes are all mine….

Picturing a memory disorder's clinic sponsoring some giveaway shop pencils:
the pencils could have the clinic phone number on one side and message on the other.

"I want you to remember three things, #1 is Pencil...."
