Why do you say that? It was indeed a geoduck.I’m no clam expert, but definitely not a geoduck.

Ah, he's winking at you.Geoducks have fused siphon tips. That doesn’t appear to be the case with the clam in your picture.
Whatever it was was lit up, moving slowly across the sky as seen in the photo. Once the flash fired, whatever it was turned off, as if it saw my flash and then went incognito mode.Alternatively if you used a flash on your phone sometimes fast moving objects will streak against a black background. I have some night photos of a snowstorm where it looks like fluorescent light tubes are coming down instead of snowflakes

Every time I can't find a piece of fishing/tying gear, i suspect my wife has done just this. To date it's an unfounded fear, but I'm pretty sure it's coming.Hahahaha! I love this one the best! Here is what i think about this photo, as someone who is married to the drummer in a band who has a standing gig right now two days a week.
This guitar (or is it a bass, i can’t tell) was thrown into the Sound by the wife of the musician.
When he IS home he is usually working on music stuff. She is doing EVERYTHING around the house. And if they have kids oh boy, that would be so much worse.
So finally one day after emptying the dishwasher for the 234th time she just snapped. And she picked up his guitar/bass and maybe chose Fox Island bridge (cause it would likely be more damaged from the Narrows) and tossed it over.
I've shown her bits of that thread to say "See?? I'm not that bad, damn near reasonable once you think about it."Hahaha… @Pink Nighty … now that i think about it, I’m surprised no one has ever found a fishing rod in the Sound that is likely thrown off a bridge by a spouse! But if she wanted to do it right, i remember that fishing poll about how many fly rods y’all have… It would make more sense to see 15 fly rods floating in the Sound!
A whatever find from the "beach" I pictured. Hopefully they had success using it.
