I first found one Revolution diamond-crusted flip flop, and imagine the thrill of finding another 100 yards down the beach! The matching one!
Pretty sure this must be evidence of a heist gone wildly wrong.

Unfortunately my foot is too large to show off the jewels. These are maybe size 8's or so.

I’m trying to figure out how you got one leg of your waders off, in order to try on that one fine wadin’ boot.

well probably the same way you do Matt, one foot at a time sort of thing.

Incidentally My wife and I have our 25th anniversary coming up, and she loves shoes, and these are pretty damn fancy, and she is size 8 or maybe 10, so we could just settle on size 8 because she never likes when you buy her a size that's bigger than she is...I don't know why this didn't occur to me before....I think this will go really well...

ZING! To be fair, I don't recall ever completely removing one boot, full wader leg, and sock before undoing anything on the other side. At that point the waders are just 90% off.

Might want to take those in to ShaneCo for an appraisal first, just to get an idea of what you have. You know, "Now you've got a friend in the diamond business."

Yeah good point, Might be able to use the extra trade in money to get me a boat- with an engine- and get her some less fancy flip flops.

I spend a lot of time on the beaches, but I’m glad I didn’t find this.
If it is one of the plane crash victims, the body traveled quite a distance from the crash site. If confirmed to be one of the crash victims, I’m glad their family will have some closure with the recovery of her remains.

I’m guessing it would depend on how short her hot pants are.

This was found on a Whidbey Island beach. My wife had it mounted for me. We figured it was some fishermen’s “halibut pistol” that got dropped or some hit man’s evidence thrown overboard. 😆View attachment 33040

Great find!

Down in the San Francisco area the sturgeon get quit large. One of the guys I know brought a big one into his not so big boat he had a snare that he used by grabbing it by the tail he and his friend got it into the boat and the fish was beating the hell out of everything in the boat. His friend pulled out a 38 and shot the fish about 3-4 times. That is about time the boat with a few holes in it started taking on water. They were able to get back to the launch before it sunk but it was touch and go. 🤔

I remember that crash pretty well, as I live not far from it. At the time I was fishing at a fairly popular beach just around the corner and heard a loud booming noise, almost like a bomb exploding in the distance. Didn't think too much of it at the time. Then I realized a few hours later what that loud noise was after someone told me there was a crash.

And this one was just about the weirdest thing I've ever seen...period. Of course my iphone, which NEVER flashes when I want it to, decided to flash when I DIDN'T want...

The scenario...I'm out at the beach very early AM, all alone. I look up at the sky to see what appears to be a flock of geese moving across the sky. But geese don't glow in the dark, so I'm curious. As they move across the sky, I fumble for my phone, flash fires, I curse, and hope that I got a pic, because as soon as my flash fires, the glowing flock of geese go dark. Maybe Elons starlinks falling back to earth after the solar flairs killed a bunch last week?
