Steelhead stuff.

As a way of motivation i finally setup all my tying things to get work on things again.

Nice. This time make it a quest for your first Atlantic Salmon caught on a dry fly.

I'm out of the loop Daniel. Have you caught one yet? Spinners, spoons and bobbers don't count. ;)

I copied most all the good suggestions we made in the original Rookie's Log and saved to a file somewhere. I might be able to find it and post it here, or in its own thread. Lotta' good rookie info.

Yep I had a feeling that that is why I want this thread here. Promotion, positivity, and awareness is the goal.

Hopefully there is a river that’s open to give you a shot.

I think when you actually stop giving a shit about catching one, you’ll catch one!!! Pick a nice spot, put on some tasty tunes and work you way down the run without a care in the world and BOOM!!! It’ll happen just like that.

Where is Reiter Ponds
Hatchery on the sky. If you're into crowds, it's pretty sweet. Better gear spot than fly spot.
Sometimes you can wander down to cable hole and get away from a few folks, but it's rarely a spot you get to yourself.

Are you going to be focusing on any particular river? Or just wanting to get into some chrome on the wet side?
