Someone the admin. Calls this the ignored thread. So thanks!

Quite Yesteryear

Walk quite like a woman
Walk quite like a man
In 1963 one less Kennedy
And we were too young
To understand
Days and years pass
As stories are sung
Of what is a kind of plan
We accept this mantle
Of happenstance
Think and feel
As if we were young
We are women and men
We can't continue
To pretend like
Days of yesteryear
Walk quite like a woman
Walk quite like a man
In 1963 one less Kennedy
And we were too young
To understand
The sweep of events
have changed us
Are we just quite here
To bide time
That is so dear
Or do we quite remember
those men and women
We were of
Yesteryear
