Virtually everyone that has a Steffen 8’ 5/6 loves it. I did too but another rod caught my eye, and the owner wanted the Steffen, so we traded. I really wanted a solid 6wt at the time. A lot of guys liked a 6wt line on the Steffen but it felt a bit heavy to me. It was likely a half-heavy Gold though.
