Same here. We have tentative plans to go but won't decide for a few weeks yet. Not sure how many more times I'll be able to get up there before I age out or go broke. :)

I'm strongly considering it, Charles may come along.

Went to the Skeena earlier this month for salmon. I was really hoping the steelhead returns would more match the Columbia and Skeena sockeye this year but it ain't happening so far. I really want to go again but may decide to just fish the middle/upper Fraser tributaries instead of steelhead on the Skeena. Time, weather, and further return information will determine what plays out for me.

Lot of folks are saying don't go, fish can't sustain the effort, conservation trumps recreation. Not sure if that is a ploy to keep others away or if it is sincere...probably some of both.

Canada has no nets in water this year. Only the conservation minded Yankee fleet is netting the fish for my river!

I caught 64 fish in 14 hours of fishing. Two half-days, and then I was limited out and driving home by mid afternoon the following day... Assumptions are not correct.

I have to drive to Kitimat about every other week for my job. I’m in a union refrigeration/gasfitter shop, and we are the farthest north one in BC, so we take care of all the union sites. Let me know when you kids are headed north and I’ll do my best to try and be around?
