Lake flyer
Steelhead
Just another ‘feel good’ customer service story from Simms.
Had a three year old pair of Freestone Z zipperedwaders that developed a small leak at the seam on the neoprene bootie and also the small inner pocket zipper broke.
Sent it in asking to seal the leak and try to fix the small pocket. Told them that if they couldn’t fix the zipper then just go ahead and fix the seam leak at the bootie and check for any other leaks or problems.
Simms instead, emailed that they were going to send me a new pair as soon as production caught up. They apologized as they knew production was a couple months behind but I told them that I was wearing my G3’s in the meantime so no worry.
Just received my new updated pair last week and really like the newer version of neoprene bootie. Much more comfortable and the gaiter is now made of wader material rather than neoprene. Not sure if I like the new gaiter but we shall see.
Their customer service has always been fair and responsive to emails and phone calls. Even updating me periodically through the process.
