Gone through a lot of Simms Guide waders when guiding in MT then recently two years ago I got the Orvis Pro waders as my first set purchased w/o discount. They’ve last well but within a couple months had to start aqua-sealing. Still use them but see another pair in my horizon.
To be fair I know all waders leak and I expect to aqua seal. I don’t use the pro features of either brand and would like to try a cheaper ($200-300) pair to see if they hold up the same.
Both brands have sizes that fit my tall athletic and big footed body. About the same features, about the same price. Any thoughts on either?
