This one stands out for the matched pair of 7-drawer cabinets shown at the right. Never seen anything like those.
candr, were those custom purpose-built for you?

Those two cabinets caught my eye also. I've been looking for something similar but not sure specifically what type of cabinet to search for.

I struggle to get stuff put away and end up with a giant snaggly pile of stuff tumbling on my desk. Somewhere I saw this idea for using three-ring binders and I now am making a mild bit of organizational progress. I use plastic trading card sleeves. 2x2 for the larger dubbing packs and 3x3 for small packs of beads and hooks.

Yes, the cabinets were custom built with the desk. I believe the guy who built them stopped building about five years ago (those are about ten years old). I regret not buying two more while he was still building. I looked through my receipts/emails and can’t find his name which is not a surprise given my organization skills. I do still see some of his desks around for sale from time to time so I believe he built for a while.

Older jent I know been trying to give me a desk. Went over to get the magnifier. Said yes to desk once I seen it. Been wanting a roll top for years for this. Lots of them out their for free just to big.

The start to building a fly tying table and storage.
Using a beautiful pc of walnut for thr table top and legs. And the sky's the limit for the wood on the rest (i sell wood for work).
Hopefully be done in a year lol

Years ago someone had posted these 18 compartment Flambeau boxes used for thread, wire, tinsel and braid storage. They have really worked out well being front and center in my tying desk. $2.99 at Sportsman's Warehouse.

As normal, a project I start gets put off for months.
Had some anger today, so managed it by sanding alot and working on the fly tying table. Still a ton to do with it, barely getting started. But no firm game plan, winging the design
