The rod on offer is from the original production run, with the ball-type fighting butt, rather than the 2008 encore edition with the flat-end extension. This rod has been lightly fished, meticulously maintained, and stored indoors ready to fish. The cork is very lightly soiled but the machined reel seat, blank, ferrules, and tip section are otherwise super clean -- no marks, dings, or other signs of use.
