Who me?WOOO! This should be fun. I just booked the last waterfront campsite for the night of May 17, but there are a few others still available on the camping loop. I suggest we pitch in and hire @Jerry Daschofsky to feed us!

Yes, you! I keep hearing what a great cook you are (mostly from you
I don't understand.. that's what coffee cups and beer coozies are for..Just one innocent question. Why select a park that says no to alcohol?
And cans of pop mixed with your favorite libation.I don't understand.. that's what coffee cups and beer coozies are for..
If Jerry's cooking.. you're crazy not to go.. seriously!I’ve got campsite #19 reserved for the 16th and 17th. If campsites get thin I’m open to sharing the site as I’ll be tent camping. Looking forward to meeting some of you. @Jerry Daschofsky cant wait to see your set up and talk cast iron cooking!

Sounds fun! I’d be happy to pitch in if I make it down to stay the night. Move over Hoh Down, it’s time for a Mayfield Showdown Musky Throw-down.I just discovered that there is a group camp site with an even better kitchen shelter facility in the same park. Those of you who are camping: Would you be interested in having our own campground for this and pitching in for this? I think it's a way more awesome option. I'm already in touch with Tacoma Power to move us over to this.

I am waiting for my contact there to get back to me. Probably still too early. I just asked if he thinks it'd be a good fit for what we want to do as far as parking and overall space. But the idea of having a more private area to have our gear out and not have to worry about anyone else is appealing. I think the main downsides are potentially parking and water access as the original shelter is right by a wide open beach. So pluses and minuses to both.Sounds fun! I’d be happy to pitch in if I make it down to stay the night. Move over Hoh Down, it’s time for a Mayfield Showdown Musky Throw-down.
Maybe need to get permission from the moderators? I haven't been on that site so not sure how they operate.I tried to post about this over at FlyBC and it disappeared. Not sure why? Maybe some of our Canadian brethren could spread the word.
I think I may do it either way. It'd be cheaper for whoever wants to camp, too. I think we'd keep the other shelter as well as a casting area next to the water, but keep all our gear swap and feasting at the group site. I just need to work with the park manager as it won't let me reserve both for some reason on the website (says I already have a reservation). The group campground sounds like a great idea.
