Not everything is a go yet. Picture size for uploads is getting played with. There will be hiccups along the way. Josh and Evan have done a remarkable job with the build thus far. What they have done is truely impressive. We all have jobs but we wanted to get this rolling right away!

We will need help reaching out to new members of interest as we will be last on the list of google searches I'm sure. This is a new blank slate and I for one am very excited to watch us grow into a community. If you have someone you want here once we go live reach out and let them know.

And yes we have talked about swag in due time!

Welcome!

I can give you a few names, But finding them is way out of my pay code. Trapper would be a good one. How about Ive of Ione. Or WW, Wadding boot, I have no idea what their real names are.

I will up the limit one more time. But cmon guys it's not hard to resize them on your phone or pc 😂 5MB should be plenty.
Evan, any help available? My pictures want to load sideways when I load them from my gallery. 20220117_084240.jpg

That's an issue with your device. That's a very tall picture, so if you're posting from a phone or tablet, they sometimes auto-rotate. @Josh and i will look in to any help we can find.

This is something I suggested to @Denwor54 and @Greg Armstrong who were having the same problem:

Try rotating 1/4 right or left, save, then rotate back, and save. That used to work on my ipad when I had that issue.

Maybe they can chime in and see if that helped.

I was having the same issue with a vertical pic off my iPhone. I did what swimmy suggested and it worked. 🤷‍♂️

This! ^

Especially if the photo was taken on a phone, orienatation can get finicky for no reason at all.

Thanks for the suggestion Swimmy. I tried that but it didn’t solve the riddle for me. I’m using an iPad and an iPhone.

What has worked though is just opening my photo gallery separately and copying, and then pasting the photos into my post.

I use Photoshop to resize all my photos before posting them. I have noticed, at least on my screen, the photos are sharper than they were at The Site That Shall Not Be Named.

I can't click on the photo to get a native resolution full screen view, but that's no big deal unless I'm trying to get someone's rigging tricks.

Thanks, I'm having the same issue. Some rotate and some don't. Thinking the ones that don't were taken with a point-n-shoot camera and the rotating ones with my phone.

I tried that when it first happened to me and the uploaded photo was still rotated 90 degrees to the left from the original.
