The pike seem pretty well established now. It’s really sad.

I am thinking about a trip over there this summer to see if I can get a few to eat a fly and trade their heads for cash.

I saw a few in the Spokane Valley reach of the Spokane River in 2007-2008. Washouts from lake CDA.

At least this time it's against an invasive species. I mean, there are northern Pikeminnow, terns at one point, sea lions (all utilizing our dams for their own survival).

Selfishly, I'd love to be nearby to fish for them though....

Maybe 3-4 years ago I talked to a guy who was catching them in a slough on the Columbia below Wenatchee near Rock Island. I think he got one that was 27bs. I don't fish up there and have never seen one myself. Long ago we saw a tiger muskie near Mattawa.

Me too! Maybe then I'd get bit by some sort of esox 😆
