Name your one fly

I mostly fish moving fresh water so:
Dry: Sz. 8 black Stimulator
Streamer: Sz. 6 Muddler Minnow
Nymph: Sz. 8 bead head hare's ear softhackle nymph (If I could only have one this would be it). Runner up sz. 6 coffee/blk Pat's Rubberlegs.
Emerger: Sz. 12 or 14 partridge and orange
Terrestrial: Sz, 16 rust/blk ant

In order of my dry fly season.

Mayfly/attractor - Purple Haze (all sizes) this fly is incredible, and surprisingly more effective than a elk hair during the Mother's Day caddis
Attractor dry - Water Walker (all sizes)
Salmon fly - Cat Puke (size 6)
Golden stone/attractor - Chubby (size 10 or smaller)
Hopper - Thunder Thighs, alt would probably be a Morrish (all sizes)

Dry, Adams
Streamer, Any Minnow pattern, particularly a shore minnow pattern I tie
Nymph, Bead head Wooly Bugger
Bass & Carp Crawfish pattern
Crappie/Bluegill Damsel Nymph
Brookies, my own Brookies' Demise

I'd love to see a picture of the Brookes Demise!

I am not a one-fly guy, but for the past few years these flies have fooled the most fish for me, by far

Lakes generally tend to baffle me, but when fish are interested in damsel nymphs...

Dry: My Adirondack Muddler or the Usual size 12-14
Streamer: Muddler Minnow size 10-12
Nymph: gold bead head black wooly bugger size 6-8. But this summer I'm going to spend time fishing Lance Egan's small bright jig nymphs.
Wet fly: starling and herl tied with a waist (Culton's Drowned Ant)
Terrestrial: ants, or the Adirondack Muddler as a hopper.

I'd love to see a picture of the Brookes Demise!
These are incredibly effective on my fav Brookie lake back home in the fall. I found this one in an old Montana fly box. Pretty simple - Peacock herl body, sparse Pheasant tail wings. Looks like I missed trimming the wing butts on this one (size 14).

I know my answer will be incredibly boring, and it isn't a sexy fly, but my "one" would be a black bunny leech, maybe size 8 or 10. Not incredibly large. Just wrap on some lead, tie in the tail, wrap up the shank, and call it good. It is like a 2 minute fly, and still my most deadly. I have caught all species of trout in still- and moving water: bows, lahontan cutts, brookies, westslope cutts, bulls, and browns. Not sure if it is the most productive because it just is, or because I have the most confidence in it so I fish it the most often, but for trout, I can confidently say it has been my most productive fly in almost any setting.
