March Madness #5 - Anyone interested?

I've never tied or fly fished for salmon or src...perhaps this is something I should consider...

The shrimp patterns you posted recently in the what’s in your vise thread would work well on cutthroat and resident coho.

Just tie a couple TM patterns …5 - 7 inches shorter than normal.

Edit: Since you’re joining, maybe Brian will make an exception for you. We need lingcod flies for Puget Sounds too :)
I've got a couple of ideas....

Randy,
You aren’t limited to just the six salmon and cutthroat flies.
If anyone wants to throw in extras flies which has happened often in the past tournaments, you are more than welcome.
I’m sure whoever wins would enjoy getting some ling flies. Some of the players this year do fish for them.

One spot left.

I second this exception. :)

I’ve ended up with a couple of Randy’s flies, which so have just been decorating my desk drawer. Maybe I need to figure out Ling fishing…. In my kayak. I know I’ve seen guys off West Seattle going for bottomfish.

🤔

well shit, now I've got even more ideas!

All full. If anyone else shows interest I’ll make them an alternate in case someone needs to drop out.
I’ll be in touch in about a month via a group pm. Selection Sunday is March 16th so that will give everyone two months to get your flies tied and sent in along with your donation.
Thanks

Just so I'm clear, you want 3 different patterns, 2 flies of each pattern?

If that's right, I respectfully suggest that we tie 3 (not 2) of each pattern, with the extra set going to @Stonedfish for running the show and doing all the legwork in the donations.

@Zak,
That is correct, three different patterns, two flies each.
I appreciate the offer. I don’t need any more flies but hold that thought about an extra set and we can discuss it as a group in the pm.
Thanks
