Jerry Daschofsky Needs Our Help.

How do you figure? GFM website currently states:

$11,883 raised
$18K goal·81 donations
I thought I had seen a goal of $3500 last night? Either way, I can't see how that's going to cover what I know medical bills cost, so keep it comin!

Definitely shows $18k now, so not sure where I saw $3500.

GoFundMe can automatically raise the goal which is what I assume is what happened. 3746.png

Also, donated.

FWIW....in 2021, the costs for my hospital visit were over $208K.....this included a helicopter ride from B'ham and a week long stay at Harborview....and that was without any major surgeries. So we can all guess what costs might be today. Hopefully Jerry has decent insurance with a reasonable deductible. (y)

Thinkin' of you Jerry.
Enjoyed our talk at the Fly Tying Expo in Albany many years ago.
Glad to help out in some small way.

Jerry and I are truly humbled but the outpouring of messages and donations. I shouldn't be surprised, my husband has helped A LOT of people over the years. From his volunteer work for veterans to being a beloved UPS driver and favorite camp cook. Quick update, as my eyes are getting heavy. Jerry is making good progress every day. He should get moved to In Patient Rehab tomorrow morning. There, he will stay 1 to 3 weeks. They will re-scan the clots in his legs to see if they can push off surgery to give his brain and lungs time to rest and heal more.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. Please continue to share the donation link if you can.

Done. I’ve never met him but heard plenty of good things about him. Wish you a speedy recovery Jerry!

Received the same message from Tiffany thru GFM. Didn’t realize a response was generated.

Long road ahead but it appears it’s been smoothed out somewhat. Get after it Jerry!

I’m sure Jer Bear is a friend to many of us. He’s in bad shape. He has been a close friend (brother) and a mentor of mine for many years.

Please help if you can, even if it’s just a note of encouragement and love.

Jerry has devoted his life to helping veterans, active duty, LEO, and first responders. His contributions to Project Healing Waters, and other non-profit organizations had been tireless. Time to give back.

Here is his GFM:
Thanks so much for letting us know about Jerry. It's very much appreciated.
