Jerry Daschofsky Needs Our Help.

Breck

The Whisk(e)y Dick
I’m sure Jer Bear is a friend to many of us. He’s in bad shape. He has been a close friend (brother) and a mentor of mine for many years.

Please help if you can, even if it’s just a note of encouragement and love.

Jerry has devoted his life to helping veterans, active duty, LEO, and first responders. His contributions to Project Healing Waters, and other non-profit organizations had been tireless. Time to give back.

Here is his GFM:

I've never used a 'go fund me' site. I'm a little gun shy when it comes to internet security. Did you guys use the link provided?
Thx
Jerry is truly a gracious human being.

Yes. I understand your concern, but this seems fully legit and (I assume) secure.

I can probably get his address for you if you'd prefer to mail a check.

I used it. There are options to make a donation using PayPal or venmo, which (in my mind) provide a buffer between the site and my bank accounts. Definitely not my area of expertise, though.

Jer Bear....I like that nickname.....hopefully you are able to read this or someone will read it to you.....

We've never met but probably like countless others, you made a lasting impression on me. Once upon a time you politely 'schooled me' when I made an innocent but uneducated comment about Memorial Day..... I think of you and your lost family member each year.

I also think of you cooking with stacks of dutch ovens when I'm trying to deal with just one. ;)

You impress me as a selfless person who is absolutely certain of their purpose in this life. I can only guess you will use that determination to make it through this time.

I survived an aneurysm 4 years ago so I can knowingly say there are some of the greatest minds in this field of medicine on this side of the state.

Positive vibes to you and your family,

Mike d.
