Hello PNWFF!

My name is Jack and I am based in Kitsap. I made my way here via Nick Clayton's awesome youtube tying videos. Joined the original site and was welcomed to move along with quite a few of you!

Relatively new to the area, moved to WA by way of New Mexico last April. I've fished my whole life and have started fly fishing in the past 6 years or so. I am a geologist, love being outside, and try to fish often.

Looking for friends and fishing buddies in the area, hit me up if you fish kitsap!

Welcome! That's a great place to be to learn the puget sound beaches. Lots of great info to be learned on that topic. Hit up the saltwater forum here and don't be shy asking how to get started on that fishery.
 
Welcome, Jack! I fished all my life, but didn't start fly fishing until I moved to Santa Fa, NM. Nice small river trout fishing around there!

Beautiful trout fishing there, spent most of my time in the Valles Caldera. Had a few mornings that will never leave my memory: 28 degrees in late march, snow to the knees on the banks, frozen guides, cold beer, and 15 minute lizard sun warming sessions for myself. Grew up fishing the salt, missed it very much.
