The lack of customers who will pay $20, $30, and even $40 for a single drink could be one explanation. I practically choke when I see a margarita priced at $12 or $14.

I can buy Lagavulian 16 year at Costco for $65-75, quality bourbon at less. $20+ for a mixed drink when there’s nothing you can put in a good whisky or bourbon other than a splash of water is nuts. To each their own…..

That 30$ drink is paying for something else that "he" hopes will be happening later :whistle:
Reminds me of my 21st birthday in Vegas I took harvest earnings, except the “later” part was asleep in a fountain.

It was a real pretty fountain for what it’s worth and contrary to the gals earlier in the night, she didn’t ask for drinks.

Remember, its NYC, and owned by an investment group. Most likely, those prices are considered cheap for the economic level of the clientele there
