I’m getting leg cramps just looking at that terrain! I loved chukar hunting many years ago and I hope bird numbers are still high. Well done and good luck!

I have a friend who lives in Spokane. Big time bird hunter, but also quite talented with training dogs. He has two Drahts which are an extreme pleasure to hunt behind.
We have talked for the past few years about doing a hunt, I finally had the flexibility to go.
Interesting hunt terrain, pretty rugged with minimal timber. 2000' of elevation gain from camp before we really got serious. Dogs did great, sniffing out a mixed bag of huns and chukars. Birds were jumpy though.
Next time I plan to fish too. Might be time to join the ranks of PNW steelheaders.
