Working at the papermill…put me through college but it sucked.
1971 for me right out of HS. I was rather nervous about it since dad worked on #6. Sure enough after workin as a 5th hand on plug rolls on #9. I thought it could not have been crappier than that. Then a couple months later I worked on 6 when Dad was the backtender. I wish i could remember who was machine tending but i recall him telling Dad “take it easy on the boy Les.”
